Testimony

I am a South African veterinary nurse student. One of my subjects is Pharmacology. In this subject we learned about this tragedy, something I have never heard of before even though I am 27 years old already! We were given this lecture as an example of why drug control is so very important. It opened my eyes to a process of which I knew little about but only saw as an annoyance, the registration and strict control of drugs. The event, however tragic has opened the eyes even as far as South Africa so many years later.
